In touching the Asia Pacific market, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf has participated in the PATA Travel Mart 2023 event organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association in India in October 2023.
This time, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy had the opportunity to 'pick up the ball' by inviting travel influencers and journalists to visit Lombok Island while introducing one of the Super Priority Tourism Destinations, namely Mandalika.
Deputy for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, said that this famtrip will be held from 27 November to 3 December 2023. "Bali has become top of mind for tourists from the Asia Pacific region when traveling to Indonesia. Therefore, we would like to introduce another destination that is no less interesting, namely Lombok, especially the Mandalika area which is one of the 5 Super Priority Destinations. "Through this famtrip, we want to convey the message that foreign tourists from the Asia Pacific region can add Lombok to their travel list to Indonesia," said Made.
Made also explained that tourists in the Asia Pacific region can go to Lombok with the Scoot airline which has a flight route to Lombok via Singapore.
Destinations in Lombok offer exotic places, various activities, and various types of accommodation from homestays to luxury resorts. This shows that currently Lombok is very ready to be visited by foreign tourists.
