Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Promotes Priority Tourist Destinations at ASTINDO Travel Fair 2024

 Tangerang, March 6 2024 - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf) participated in the ASTINDO Travel Fair 2024 by presenting Wonderful Indonesia _booth_ which promotes tourist attractions as well as creative economic centers from a number of priority tourist destinations in the country .

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Menparekraf/Kabaparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno in his statement, Wednesday (6/3/2024), said that in the event which took place at ICE BSD from 29 February to 3 March 2024, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy facilitating a number of industries that offer various destinations and attractions that make Indonesian tourism more competitive.

"On this occasion, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy invites the public to travel #InIndonesiaAja by providing a choice of tourism products from Indonesia's priority tourism destinations," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga.

Sandiaga said there were several choices of tourism products at Wonderful Indonesia's _booth_. These products are Bobocabin on Lake Toba by Bobobox Indonesia, Phinisi Cruise in Bali and Labuan Bajo by Sea Safari Cruise, exotic resort in Tanjung Lesung by Tanjung Lesung Resort, village tourism products in Borobudur by Karangrejo Tourism Village, and train tourism products by KA Tourism.

Apart from promoting tourism products, in this event the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy also offers various interesting games for visitors.

"Here, visitors can win various official Wonderful Indonesia merchandise and travel vouchers from partners," he said.

Apart from that, various promos are also presented both from ASTINDO and from each partner which makes traveling #InIndonesiaAja even cheaper and easier.

The ASTINDO Travel Fair 2024 tourism exhibition was also attended by various airlines, destinations, hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, cruise lines, transportation, resorts and spas, travel gear/apparel, tourism promotion agencies, insurance, tourism communities, banking and government .

"Through this exhibition, we hope that the domestic tourist travel target of 1.25 – 1.5 billion trips in 2024 can be achieved," concluded Sandiaga.
